⚠️ Caution, Toll Road Ahead ⚠️ STAY RIGHT →
They say trolls guard bridges, demanding a toll,
But it’s been gnomes all along, wouldn’t you know.
A curious misadventure I now will bestow,
It happened like this, a very long time ago:
The first gnome on watch was named Mister Troll,
Why his mother named him that, no one will ever truly know.
Some passerby muddled his name, and the story took flight,
Spinning tales of trolls under bridges in the glow of moonlight.
Now pay him a visit, then pay him the toll,
And perhaps he'll tell you which way next to go.
It’s only a penny, we’ve provided one for free,
You’ll find it in your Adventurer Packet, you’d best pay the fee,
Drop the coin in the basket, then scan for receipt,
In a door, in a log, beneath a boulder’s great span,
You’ll find his toll booth waiting, where bridge tolls began.
